Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect buildings, including floors, walls, and surfaces, to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a healthy environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing minor equipment issues, to ensure efficient operations and prevent downtime.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and management to report any maintenance issues or concerns, and collaborate on solutions.
- Meet with contractors as needed to discuss building repairs and renovations, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Report any unusual activity or security concerns to the director immediately, and take steps to mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar position preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, and stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear throughout the day.
