About the Position
The Oilfield Operations Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our well service rigs. This position involves assisting in rigging up and down, pulling and laying down rods, tubing and casing, and other functions specified by the Rig Supervisor or other designated individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well.
- Set hydraulic jacks, handle pads/boards, and assist in attaching the guy wires to the anchor.
- Operate rod wrenches, tongs, elevators, and other associated rig tools and equipment during well servicing operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Basic oilfield well servicing experience required.
- A minimum of one (1) year rig floor operation experience.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle records (MVR).
