Job Title: Workover Crew Leader
In this key role, you will lead a 4-5-person workover rig crew, reporting directly to the assigned Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the workover crew, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate the preparation of the crew for work, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
- Collaborate with the field supervisor or customer representative to develop and implement effective workover strategies.
- Oversee the inspection, setup, takedown, and transportation of assigned workover rigs.
- Develop and maintain a culture of safety within the crew, promoting risk awareness and mitigation techniques.
- Identify and address training needs within the crew, fostering a continuous learning environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of workover rig experience, with two years of operational and safety experience as a Derrick Hand and Floor Hand required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR); Class A or B CDL preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to access the work environment by use of a ladder at heights of 50 ft. or more.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
