Description:
We are seeking an AV Engineer to join our European Institutions team. You will be part of our client's Digital Workplace Technology team and be in charge of creating, installing, and maintaining the top-notch AV service for their event, meeting and collaboration spaces. You will work in a diverse and lively environment, where you will guarantee the flawless performance and quality of the audiovisual systems and services on a 2nd and 3rd level basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily preventive maintenance checks and troubleshooting of the AV equipment and systems in the event, meeting rooms, including Creston control systems, HP / Poly VC equipment, Dante based AV components (mandatory expertise), Televic voting systems, Arbor Media (CMEET, LOGDEPOT) , and Brightsign DMS. (are a definite plus)
- Provide technical support and assistance to key users before, during, and after meetings and events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the IT team and external vendors to resolve any issues or faults related to the AV infrastructure and network.
- Install, configure, and update the AV software and hardware as needed, following the best practices and standards.
- Document and report any incidents, problems, or feedback regarding the AV systems and services.
- Maintain the as-build documentation and propose improvements based on incident analysis and problem management-based activities.
- Train and educate key users and staff on how to use the AV equipment and systems effectively and efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the AV industry and suggest improvements or upgrades to the existing AV solutions.
- A bachelor's degree in audiovisual engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in AV engineering, installation, maintenance, and support, preferably in a large-scale corporate or institutional setting.
- Strong knowledge and skills in AV technologies and systems, such as Creston, HP / Poly, Brightsign (DMS),Dante AV, NDI are required, Televic and Arbor Media are a definite plus but not required.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with users and stakeholders from different backgrounds and levels.
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
- Willing to work onsite in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and travel occasionally to other locations as required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Must be able to present and speak in front of others
