Axient is seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer at Ft. Belvoir, Arlington, VA to support tasks for the Joint Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems Office’s (JCO) efforts to demonstrate, evaluate, develop, and test selected C-UAS capabilities at Ft. Belovoir, Arlington, VA
What you will do...
- Responsible leading a multi-disciplined team variably be staffed by any combination of Warfighters, Engineers, or three-letter agencies depending on the requirement.
- Take ownership of the perform of and strive to unify their cross-functional team to maximize effective planning, readiness, and daily execution of events during test.
- Conduct daily reviews with the team at test to articulate areas to sustain and/or improve to ensure team is continuously informed.
- Provides daily test report, and is responsible for compiling, reviewing, and submitting the final report at conclusion of test.
- Capable of projecting resources required for long-term objectives.
- Support assessment of test ranges/facilities and associate capabilities for suitability of proposed test objectives.
- JCO is fast-paced, and so candidate shall be a team player, resilient, and highly adaptable.
Skills you will need...
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Active Top Secret
- Minimum 3 years Engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years leading and/or working with a multi-disciplined team
- Interest in EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB
Travel: Up to 20% depending on the evolving threat driving the need to deploy test capabilities
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field of study
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to attain Special Access Program tier
- Minimum 5 years test experience in progressive roles of responsibility within a
- Experience in Electronic Warfare and RF/IR Countermeasures.
- Experience with EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB
- Hands-on test, integration, and verification support across lab facilities requiring skills in algorithms, software, hardware, and networking
- Recent hands-on RF chain analysis and radar system performance analysis, as well as all aspects of test execution
- Possess deep understanding of testing philosophies and methodologies within an agile test environment.
