Job Summary
The SMX team is seeking a highly motivated Lead Test Engineer with demonstrated experience to perform test development and planning for the mission computer software for the H1 program. This role involves collaborating with a team of skilled professionals supporting critical programs across the NAVAIR community.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of testing plans and procedures for the mission computer SW for the H1 program
- Testing may involve interaction with tactical computers and system computers, focusing on proposed enhancements and new capabilities
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews evaluating work products to Government standards
Requirements
- Clearance Required: Secret
- BS or BA degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited university
- At least Ten (10) years of experience in the engineering field-testing DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the H1 Mission Computer SW
- Strong communication, written/oral, and presentation skills as well as strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
