Position Overview:
Axio, a provider in air cargo and private charter services, is seeking a detail-oriented and operationally savvy Flight Controller/Sales Associate to join our dynamic operations team. The Flight Controller will play a pivotal role in monitoring and coordinating our fleet's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and optimal customer service. This position is designed for the afternoon/evening shift, catering to our unique operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Flight Monitoring: Track real-time flight positions, ensuring flights adhere to their scheduled routes, times, and altitudes. Communicate any deviations or concerns promptly to relevant parties.
Sales/Customer Service: Day-to-day sales and customer relations with regular clients and brokers. Quoting and booking trips as requested by the customers.
Ground Support Coordination: Arrange and confirm on-ground support for aircraft, including fueling, maintenance, baggage handling, and catering, to ensure seamless turnaround.
Operational Communication: Serve as a key point of contact between pilots, ground crew, and customer service teams, facilitating efficient communication and problem resolution.
Logistics Management: Coordinating crew and flight schedules with the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot to achieve maximum efficiency.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure all flight and ground operations comply with regulatory standards and company safety policies. Participate in safety audits and reviews as required.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of flight operations, incidents, and coordination efforts. Prepare and distribute operational reports to management and relevant departments.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in logistics management, sales, customer service, and/or dispatch. Previous experience as a Flight Controller or Dispatcher is highly advantageous.
Strong ability to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required.
Flexibility to work afternoon/evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly adapt to operational software and systems.
Education:
High school diploma required; further education or certifications in aviation management, operations, logistics management, or a related field preferred.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year plus 1% commission on quotes booked.
