About The Role
Axiom Builders is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team for the construction of an multi-phase mixed-use project in Nashville, Tennessee. This first phase of the project will integrate residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, creating a dynamic urban environment. Your support will be crucial in ensuring the project runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and meets budgetary goals. You’ll collaborate closely with a diverse team, manage essential project documentation, and tackle challenges head-on to help us deliver Axioms Builders first major project in Nashville.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and
budgets;
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution
and address any issues;
Help manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring compliance with project
specifications and quality standards;
Monitor project progress and update the Project Manager with regular status reports and
documentation;
Support the resolution of any on-site issues or conflicts to minimize delays;
Implement and adhere to project safety protocols and regulatory requirements;
Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Support site superintendent and site construction team along with subcontractors with construction documentation and coordination

Skills and Experience
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in project management or a related field;
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related
discipline;
Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools;
Basic understanding of construction methods, project budgeting, and regulatory compliance;
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
