The IT Project Manager will work with internal business stakeholders to drive the implementation and adoption of enterprise-level systems across the organization. In partnership with system specific administrators, subject matter experts and leaders within each department, you will work in lock-step to drive the successful delivery of technology-related projects. Acting as the primary project manager for multiple initiatives, this role is also responsible for shaping the Project Management practice within the Construction Technology team from project initiation through implementation, stabilization, optimization, training, handover, and sustainment.
Key Responsibilities
Define project scope and deliverables as it relates to business objectives and needs and document scope, budget, and timeline through a project objective statement;
Manage project delivery from initiation to closeout, ensuring the approved project scope and design is delivered on time and within budget;
Planning and monitoring project critical paths and tasks to ensure completion in a timely manner;
Effectively communicate project status to corresponding stakeholders throughout the project via weekly and monthly updates;
Work collaboratively with project stakeholders to identify and analyze opportunities, project risks, develop value capturing and risk mitigation strategies, and produce and control project timelines;
Create and own all project documentation, including project charters, project schedules, project plans, RACI, risk matrix, task breakdowns, and decision/issue/change logs; Conduct project reviews and leverage ‘lessons learned’ to continuously improve the Project Management practice within the Construction Technology team;
Create manage and maintain the necessary project artifacts and documentation to ensure successful project delivery, including selection and configuration of project management tools.
What you Bring You are a balanced mix of IT Project Manager, collaborator and problem solver. You are comfortable starting transformational projects from inception or being parachuted in to support when major road-blocks arise. You are meticulous in your documentation and leverage your attention to detail to keep your stakeholders updated before they even realized they want an update! You are comfortable translating business needs into technical specs, fitting into conversations with a variety of departments including HR, Finance, IT and Construction.
Skills and Experience
At least 4 years of experience within a Business Analyst or Project Manager role, ideally supporting primary or secondary industries (construction, manufacturing, logistics, natural resources etc);
Knowledge of IT project lifecycles in relation to implementations, migrations, and integrations;
Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs;
Proven ability to grow long-term collaborative relationships;
Experience with Agile methodologies;
Proficient with project management tools such as - MS Project, JIRA, Monday.com.
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
