We’re working with an established printing company based in Guilford, CT. They are recruiting a Industrial Electrician to join their team from 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday) in return for an annual salary in the region of $75,000-$90,000 along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Flexible Schedule, Flexible Spending Account, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Life Insurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Assess, install, and repair electrical components and systems
• Suggest and or build modifications on production equipment
• Create electrical maintenance schedules
• Manage inventory levels for existing and future needs
• Assist and maintain camera inspection and corona treatment systems
• Troubleshoot ink management and curing systems when required
• Work on AC, DC, motors, drives, and controllers
• Utilize measuring equipment such as VOM, ammeter, and oscilloscope
• Comply with NEC and OSHA requirements
• Mentor other electricians and contractors
• Be proficient troubleshooting circuits with power supplies, relays, motors, drives and various field devices such encoders, resolvers, micro switches, potentiometers, sensors (inductive, capacitive & photoelectric), etc
• Be proficient in modifying schematics as needed to reflect changes.
• Be proficient in generating from scratch schematics for small panels.
• Have a working knowledge of panel building for small capital projects.
• Be able to make breadboard simulations as needed.
• Comply with NEC and OSHA standards for all installation assignments.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Must understand fuse types and usages
• Comfortable with working up to 480vac and 180vdc
• Able to modify schematics and apply changes
• Working knowledge of panel building
• Familiarity with PLC and HMI programming is a plus
