Responsibilities as a Quality Assurance Supervisor:

• Support the VP of Quality and Innovation in leading the on-site Quality Department to ensure quality and food safety standards are met in daily production activities.
• Ensure smooth operations of the quality team by adhering to established standards and procedures and providing leadership support.
• Assist with the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing compliance with BRCGS Standards and best practices for food safety and quality.
• Ensure adherence to food safety, HACCP, CCP monitoring, and GMP programs, and oversee the operational implementation, maintenance, and performance of the food safety program during daily operations.
• Oversee label control, assist in label creation, and manage approval processes.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with production, maintenance, warehouse, procurement, and logistics departments.
• Participate and assist in internal and external audits.
• Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality and Operational procedures (SOPs) as defined in Quality Management System
• Deputy for QA Technicians; deputize for VP of Quality & Innovation in food safety and quality matters as required.

Experience needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety or equivalent studies
• Experienced with BRC Certification
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Quality Management Systems
• Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or equivalent role within food manufacturing.
