Our client specializes in income tax preparation, tax planning, accounting services, estate and trust work, and accounting software assistance. While maintaining a family friendly atmosphere, they are committed to meeting the needs of their clients, alongside exceeding expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial outcomes.
- Manage accounting records and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with estate and trust tax filings and provide guidance on estate planning strategies.
- Support clients with accounting software selection, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain client relationships through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and industry best practices to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Active CPA certification
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, CPA-specific tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Desire to grow into ownership
