REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager
BASIC FUNCTION: To process and support customer needs and fulfillment and support existing sales channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist in processing unit orders and entering customer orders into ERP system.
- Adhere to the Customer Service order processing guidelines.
- Respond and Assist customers with customer service inquiries promptly.
- Deal with customers via emails, over the phone.
- Provide sales information to customers and distributors.
- Help to create customer satisfaction with prompt & accurate responses to their inquiries.
- Coordinate with the internal department to find solutions and resolve matters.
- Manage proper lead times and tracking of orders.
- Provides support to the department in a call center environment by working on special projects, management, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3 years of experience in Customer Service (Call Center environment preferred).
- Associate Degree minimum in Business related field. (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of Order Entry or Administrative experience.
- Experience with an ERP system or similar for entering orders, accessing technical information, locating service providers and tracking warranty.
- Active Listening skills, giving full attention to what other people are saying. Patience with taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Ability to articulate with others positively to convey information effectively.
- Work within a call center team environment, objectively reaching team goals.
- Should have patience and composure when communicating with the customer.
- Strive for continuous improvement in customer service and company goals.
- Strong computer skills proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen.
