How does this role contribute to our collective success?
The pricing team has responsibility for developing consistent, worldwide pricing and portfolio management practices across AXIS, and is primarily responsible for Pricing Models, Case Pricing, New Business Development, Product Monitoring, Portfolio Management, Business Planning, and Price Monitoring. The pricing team interacts extensively with other functions including underwriting, reserving, risk management, capital modelling, and finance.
What will you do in this role?
- This role has direct responsibility for pricing and portfolio management of all Professional Lines & Cyber Insurance and Reinsurance business (GWP~$2.5bn) written across the globe through offices in US, London, Zurich, and Dublin.
- This also includes management responsibility for 14 pricing actuaries based in these offices supporting individual business units.
- The business includes a broad spread of covers, including Treaty, Commercial D&O, Financial Institutions, E&O, Transactional Liability, and Cyber & Tech.
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of 300 to 350 (NY), [250 to 300 (GA), 300 to 350 (CA)]. Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
