Your Impact
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects. You will oversee a range of initiatives, including IT systems, data centers, cloud migration, network upgrades, and other infrastructure-related projects. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals within scope, budget, and timelines.
What You’ll Do- Location: This role does require you to be based out of any of our main R&D US Based Hubs (Scottsdale, AZ OR Boston, MA, OR Seattle, WA, OR Atlanta, GA)
Reports to: Principal Program Manager
Direct Reports: N/A - Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, vendors, and contractors, to deliver high-quality results.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project issues are resolved promptly.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze project outcomes and recommend improvements for future infrastructure initiatives.
What You Bring
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure projects, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud solutions.
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred. ITIL certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, virtualization, network systems, and cybersecurity).
- Project Tools: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project performance and impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence without authority.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 110,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 149,500 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
