The Senior Systems and Network Administrator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT infrastructure, ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of the organization’s systems and networks. Key Responsibilities :
Technical Duties :
- Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, cloud platforms, and security systems.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network services (LAN / WAN, VPN, firewalls, wireless).
- Ensure system security, backups, disaster recovery plans, and regular maintenance.
- Implement upgrades, patches, and configurations to optimize performance and security.
- Monitor system and network performance, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and network topology.
Supervisory Duties :
Lead and manage a team of systems and network administrators, including task delegation, performance evaluations, and mentorship.Develop and manage work schedules, ensuring coverage for critical infrastructure and support.Coordinate team training to ensure knowledge of current technologies and best practices.Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional growth.Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.Collaborate with other departments to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.Other Duties as Required :

Required Skills and Experience :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience : 5 years in systems and network administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, firewalls, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments.Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including risk mitigation and compliance standards.Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell) and monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds).Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Soft Skills :
