Your Impact
The Salesforce Administration Manager will lead a team of Salesforce administrators responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Cloud (including CPQ and Billing). This role will collaborate with Business Analysts, Salesforce Architects, Developers, the PMO team, and business stakeholders to ensure that Salesforce processes are optimized and that systems are running efficiently and securely. The Administration Manager will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of Salesforce Administrators and ensuring the success of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and regular environment refreshes of Axon’s Salesforce Org.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 136,510 in the lowest geographic market and USD 184,690 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors. - Manage a team of Salesforce administrators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, Salesforce architects, developers, and Commercial Applications leadership to ensure alignment of Salesforce initiatives with business objectives.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs to ensure the Salesforce team is up-to-date on best practices and product updates.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Salesforce platform, including user setup, security, permissions, workflows, and process automation.
- Work closely with the PMO team on capacity planning, sprint planning, and business prioritization.
- Work with the development and architecture teams to streamline and improve the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring high-quality releases and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate on the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans for Salesforce environments and ensure comprehensive backup procedures are in place and regularly tested to protect critical data.
- Plan and execute periodic environment refreshes to ensure development, staging, and production environments are up-to-date.
- Manage user permissions, profiles, roles, and access controls to ensure the system’s integrity and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Cloud (CPQ and Billing).
- Strong background in Salesforce environment management, including CI/CD processes, backup, disaster recovery, and environment refreshes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Salesforce Architects, Developers, Project Management Office (PMO) and Business stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
- Expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration (including Lightning, reports, dashboards, and process automation tools like Flow, Process Builder, etc.).
