Your Impact
As a Professional Services Manager (PSM) for Axon Air, you will facilitate the successful deployment of Axon and drone technology for law enforcement agencies, with a focus on surpassing customer expectations and ensuring long-term product adoption. In this role, you will be involved in both pre-sale (Trials and Evaluation (T&E)) and post-sale (deployment) activities. During T&E, you will adopt a sales-driven approach to captivate agencies with our drone technology, recognizing that their engagement is crucial to driving overall sales. Post-sale, you will take on a program management/ training role, acting as the primary point of contact for the customer. You will coordinate with third-party vendors, ensure readiness before deployment, and deliver a premium, "white-glove" deployment and training experience, leaving customers both delighted and appreciative.
What You'll Do
Location: Remotely from the United States with up to 80% travel
Reports to: Manager, Professional Services
- Engage with technology decision-makers (e.g., Chiefs of Police, Command Staff, Sheriffs, Directors of IT) and agency drone leaders during pre- and post-sale phases to establish and enhance UAS programs.
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts by responding to proposals, demonstrating solutions, creating deployment plans, and addressing customer inquiries.
- Develop, schedule, and deliver drone-related training programs for customers, leveraging UAS expertise.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure prompt hardware delivery and seamlessly integrated operational training
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Axon Air products, assisting agencies in establishing or improving their UAS programs and ensuring compliance with Part 107 regulations.
- Stay current with UAS technologies, regulations, and trends while supporting product testing and evaluations.
What You Bring
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with proven experience working effectively in a team, mentoring colleagues, and taking on leadership roles.
- A customer-first approach, with demonstrated success in working collaboratively with customers and external partners.
- Expertise in drone equipment and operations, including FAA certifications (Part 107, commercial rotary/fixed-wing) or willingness to obtain Part 107 within three months of hire.
- Strong organizational and consultative skills, capable of managing accounts, coordinating across functional teams, and driving projects independently.
- Demonstrated skill in providing in-person technical instruction, particularly in operational or high-stakes settings.
- Willingness to travel weekly across North America, with experience in UAS programs or familiarity with law enforcement/military sales considered a plus.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 69,458 in the lowest geographic market and USD 111,132 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
