Your Impact
As a Technical Project Manager on Axon's Professional Services team, you'll be the strategic and technical lead behind deploying our Interview Room solutions across law enforcement agencies. You'll work directly with IT leaders, Chiefs of Police, and Axon's internal teams to design, plan, and execute seamless hardware and network deployments that enhance public safety workflows.
This is a cross-functional, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a passion for both technology and public safety.
What You'll Do
Location: US based Axon hub sites (Atlanta, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Scottsdale, or Seattle metro areas)
Travel: 10%
Reports to: Manager, Professional Services
- Lead deployment planning and project execution for Interview Room installations.
- Create and validate network and hardware designs tailored to each agency's infrastructure.
- Develop detailed project timelines, identify blockers, and ensure prerequisites are resolved ahead of deployment.
- Build accurate documentation, including network diagrams, for use by implementation teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from internal engineering to external law enforcement IT leadership.
- Use Smartsheet and other tools to track progress, risks, and key milestones.
- Stage and configure proof-of-concept equipment for customer validation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical project management, professional services, or solution deployment.
- Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), audio/video systems, and low-voltage installations.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site technical projects from design through execution.
- Experience with commercial/office buildouts and working with contractors and internal teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you can explain technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with law enforcement, public safety, or government technology environments is a strong plus.
