Your Impact
As the Training Operations Specialist you will have a direct impact on the success of agencies and officers using Axon products in their daily lives, as well as the well-being of the communities they serve. Working directly with our Training Manager and training staff, you will serve a key role in the logistical planning and execution of training and education programs for Axon. Key responsibilities range from coordinating our instructor training network to training customers how to successfully use our products. What You’ll Do
Location: Onsite at our Scottsdale, AZ Headquarter, with 20% travel
Reports to: Training Manager, US
- Reports directly to Training Manager to support both online and in-person programming related to Axon Training events and Axon products and services (Axon Ecosystem).
- Deliver Axon product training to Training Staff, Internal Teams, and our customers.
- Manage Axon Employee Ecosystem training experiences
- Assist with product testing and validation
- Manage day-to-day training delivery at Axon Headquarters
- Coordinate instructor staffing for Axon Training sponsored events
- Conduct Quality Control checks of Axon Training Instructor Cadre and courses
- Maintain Axon Training Major Events Calendar
- Maintain Axon Training Instructor Network platform
- Maintain Training Room inventory and organization
What You Bring
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience
- Law Enforcement or Military service, Law Enforcement Preferred.
- Proven knowledge of training development and applied to a Law Enforcement/Public Safety context
- 3 years of teaching experience (classroom, online, or both); professional experience in Training, Adult Education, Higher Education
- Experience and interest in new/emerging educational technology (VR/AR, mobile-based learning, online learning platforms etc.)
- Travel 20% of the time with advanced and short notices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a TASER Master Instructor or other applied role in Law Enforcement Training
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate abstract or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences in a way that enables learning transfer
- Strong writing and critical thinking skills
