About the Job
The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for serving existing and new customers by troubleshooting equipment failures on-site. You will locate sources of problems by observing electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical devices in operation.
Responsibilities
- Serves customers by troubleshooting equipment failures on-site
- Locates sources of problems by observing electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical devices
- Start-up and commissioning of new equipment at customer location
- Maintains close relationships with customers
- Determines changes in dimensional requirements of wear parts by inspecting parts
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
- Provides after-sales technical support
Qualifications and Education Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have great customer service skills and experience as a Field Service Controls Technician. Strong mechanical ability and knowledge of the Metric System are also essential.
