Inventory Specialist

Aya Healthcare is seeking an Experienced Inventory Specialist in Greensboro, North Carolina for a 13 week contract role!

**Must have cycle counting, inventory management and control experience**

Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Location: 1121 N Church St Greensboro, NC

Hourly Pay: $28-30

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8a-5p

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Onboarding Time: 2-3 weeks

Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels within our organization. This position involves monitoring stock levels, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in various inventory management software and tools. Understanding of cycle counting, supply receiving and purchasing is preferred.

Duties

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms for inventory procurement.
• Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau and SQL to generate reports on inventory trends and performance.
• Collaborate with the distribution center team to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Implement best practices for inventory management in e-commerce environments.
• Conduct financial analysis related to inventory costs and turnover rates.
• Operate forklifts as needed for inventory handling (certification preferred).
• Analyze market data using Nielsen insights to inform purchasing decisions.

REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of experience in inventory analytics
Strong Excel skills
