JOB SUMMARY:
The Imaging Center Manager provides leadership of the daily operations of the imaging center(s) and practice-based imaging services in the assigned market. The manager ensures the quality and efficient delivery of imaging services including, but not limited to X-ray, CT scan, Ultrasound, DEXA and echocardiography by managing staff, maintaining equipment, coordinating patient and team member schedules in alignment with Aylo values and objectives as well as applicable regulatory standards.
REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to the Director of Imaging. Supervises Imaging Center team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure the imaging center(s) & practices deliver convenient and quality health care to every patient.
- Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and address any performance opportunities.
- Meet compliance standards and performance targets such as patient satisfaction
- Proactively recommend, develop, and implement diagnostic imaging policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policy, procedures, safety protocols and quality standards.
- Monitor workflow to identify and address bottlenecks to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate and ensure effective communication with the Director of Imaging Services and other team members.
- Responsible for team member engagement and retention through practices that demonstrate promote communication, recognition, teamwork, and effective employee relations practices.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Contribute to the development of team members through training and development efforts.
- Responsible for holding team members to the highest level of integrity and professionalism standards.
- Resolve service and care issues, including patient complaints - address patient concerns and questions, promoting a positive patient experience.
- PACS troubleshooting and training.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Supervisor / Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at date of hire
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities to meet assigned deadlines
- Team building as well as coaching for performance and development skills
- Leadership abilities to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
