Academic Coordinator (East Valley)

Overview
The Academic Coordinator at AZ Aspire is a campus-level administrator position. The ideal candidate will have experience in differentiation, accommodations, modifications, and behavior management. Academic Coordinators will assist teachers in providing individualized instruction to students, communicate with parents, and ensure academic success/progress of students.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and ongoing training of staff in academics and individualized education
• Oversight of academic data, IEP goal data, and other data
• Point of contact for parents and ongoing communication
• Ensuring academic cycles quarterly
• Expert in AZ Aspire curriculums and supplemental materials
• Collaboration with Campus Coordinator/Behavior Specialist
• Collaboration with Leadership Team
• Collaboration with Related Service Providers (OT, SLP, Counselor, and PT)
• Involvement of enrollment process of incoming students
• Prepare for and attend meetings with parents and districts
• Continued duties over ESY
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Special Education Teaching Certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to educate others on academic policies and procedures while fostering an inclusive environment.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Location

This position is either at our Tempe Campus or Queen Creek campus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
