Position Title: Grading Foreman

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead Grading Operations:
- Oversee and manage grading crews to ensure timely and quality project completion.
- Operate equipment, including Finish Blade, Gannon, and other necessary machinery.
- Survey Knowledge:
- Re-set hubs, calculate slopes, and verify grades to ensure accuracy.
- Material Management:
- Calculate ABC quantities, order materials, and coordinate delivery to job sites.
- Plan Interpretation:
- Read and interpret work orders, plans, or contracts and relay information to crews.
- Site Monitoring:
- Regularly observe job sites to track progress, identify issues, and adjust labor and equipment utilization as needed.
- Quality Control & Safety:
- Monitor quality control to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Conduct safety training (e.g., toolbox talks) and uphold safety protocols on job sites.
- Customer Communication:
- Represent the organization professionally with customers, the public, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading grading crews (preferred).
- Proficient in operating and maintaining Finish Blade, Gannon, and other grading equipment.
- Strong understanding of survey processes, slope calculations, and material placement and compaction.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage crews and interact with external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to quality work and workplace safety.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday .
Work Location: Office-based in Chandler, Arizona, with occasional travel.
