AZAD is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Staff RN for a W2 Contract position in Pikeville, Kentucky. Schedule : Days, 48 hours / week Assignment Duration : The initial assignment length is 13 weeks with a high probability of being extended. Compensation & Benefits : The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $38.00 - $43.00, plus daily stipends (7 days / week), $110 Lodging and $68 Meals & Incidentals. Weekly compensation (including stipends) is between $3,070 - $3,310. Benefits offered include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k. Essential Functions : Procedural Area Responsibilities : Assesses / reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to : Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures / equipment, Care of and / or recovery of patient pre / post interventional cardiac proceduresCare of and / or recovery of patient pre / post electrophysiology proceduresCare of and / or recovery of patient pre / post interventional radiology proceduresCare of patients with vascular closure devices : application, maintenance, removal and post care.Assist with Vascular Procedures, including IVC Filters, Run-Offs, Acute and Chronic OcclusionsMaintain / Pull Arterial and / or Venous SheathsACT MachineAssist with Peripheral Balloons and StentsAssist with Thermodilution and Invasive MonitoringAssist with IVUS proceduresAssist with Interventional Radiology (IR) proceduresAssist with FFR (Fraction Flow Reserve) ProceduresAssist with Electrophysiology “EP” ProceduresAssist with RF AblationsAssist with CryoablationsAssist with insertion of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, maintenance and trouble shootAssist with Loop Recorder InsertionAssist with ICDs, Pacemakers (Temporary and Permanent)Assist with Spectranetics LaserSynchronized Cardioversion / DefibrillationPain management and follow-up pain reassessmentAnaphylactic Reactions : Monitor for, manage, and use of anaphylactic kitMAC Lab System MonitoringMinimum Qualifications : Associate's degree in nursing.
