Azalea Health is seeking an experienced Associate Manager, RCM Reimbursement to provide Revenue Cycle Management/Accounts Receivable (A/R) services for Azalea clients. Operating under the direct supervision of the Director of RCM Reimbursement, this role will be critical to retaining and growing our RCM customer base.

WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Lead team of RCM Reimbursement Specialists to be in alignment with department and organization goals to improve individual employee performance and RCM client satisfaction
- Responsible for management, training, supervision, resource allocation and workload assignments of assigned RCM Reimbursement staff
- Provides administrative oversight to assigned staff including timesheets,payroll approvals, performance reviews, time off requests
- Ensures that assigned RCM Reimbursement staff workflows are optimized to reach successful performance benchmarks including but not limited Days in AR and Denial %
- Works with offshore Vendor Manager to effectively monitor the productivity and performance of outsource partner resources
- Deploys benchmarking techniques and data analysis to monitor employee productivity and performance KPIs
- Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clients, co-workers, and assigned staff as it relates to specific specialties, payers, denials and accounts receivable processes
- Identifies, analyzes, and researches frequent root causes of denials and facilitates actions plans for resolution
- Effectively communicate directly with clients to help resolve complex denial, A/R and general reimbursement issues
- Effectively understands and communicates health care industry and payer specific billing and reimbursement guidelines in addition to internal Azalea and client specific guidelines
- Supports new RCM client onboarding and account set up as needed.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Operations or related field
- CPC, CPB, or CMA designating highly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management and/or Healthcare Administration required with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
- 3 years of progressive denials and accounts receivable management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of billing, reimbursement and compliance regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proficient in analytics tools
- Prior experience with EHRs, or health information technology strongly preferred
