ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Design and develop innovative menu and beverage concepts that align with Azamara’s Destination Immersion focus. This includes menu design for both bars and restaurants, as well as content and concept development specific to the bar program.
- Establish and maintain service and operational standards across the fleet to enhance the guest experience.
- Oversee fleet-wide beverage programs, including recipe standardization and service protocols, supported by detailed documentation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Restaurant & Bar Managers across all ships.
- Monitor financial performance, including budget adherence for chinaware, beverage costs, and consumables.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize product sourcing and cost control.
- Work closely with Revenue Operations to align package inclusions with market demands.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for restaurant and bar equipment innovation and implementation.
- Represent the company at designated food and beverage industry events, as approved by the VP, Hotel Operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 10 years of management experience in restaurant and/or bar operations within a high-volume, luxury hospitality environment (e.g., cruise line, resort, hotel, or fine-dining restaurant).
- 2-3 years of experience managing multi-venue operations with financial oversight responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of international culinary and beverage trends.
- Proven ability to align operational execution with company standards, brand objectives, and KPIs.
- Develop and execute beverage programs that enhance customer satisfaction while adhering to financial targets.
- Monitor and control onboard local procurement expenses across the fleet.
- Plan menu and product launches in coordination with the Traveling Restaurant & Bar Manager and Supply Chain team to mitigate last-minute cost impacts.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
