Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across all aspects of our operations. You will oversee quality control processes, implement quality initiatives, and lead a team of quality professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality Assurance Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies to meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
- Quality Control : Oversee quality control processes, including incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final product inspection.
- Testing and Analysis : Lead the planning and execution of various tests, including carton testing and foam protection assessments, to ensure product integrity and performance.
- Root Cause Analysis : Conduct thorough investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and customer-specific requirements.
- Data Analysis : Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions.
- Supplier Quality Management : Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
- Proven experience in leading and managing quality teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools.
- Experience in design and engineering principles, including packaging design, is a plus.
- Hours - 1st Shift Only - 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm Monday-Friday (No Overtime Required)
