Description :

2nd shift Availability, 3pm -1am. Shift Differential Provided, Monday - Thursday Schedule, with Friday Overtime Available!

Frequently lifting castings weighing up to 16 lbs. and loading them onto a tray (while in a standing position) during a 10 hour shift.
Pick red-hot castings off of tray with short rake, separate and pass over to rolling mill.
Change dies with use of various tools
Use pliers to grab and pull blank out of press and toss into quench tank on angle.
Frequent bending and twisting
Constant exposure to hot environment
Maintain established quality and quantity standards.
Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company and department policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to proper supervision.
Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
Maintain daily production and other records as required.
Provide assistance to other team members as requested by team leader
Perform other related duties as required or directed.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. At least 3 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Lift 15 pounds

Awareness of OSHA & Safety standards. Knowledge of lean manufacturing a plus.

Requires English reading, writing, adding, subtracting, decimals, fractions, simple arithmetic that is involved in carrying out work instructions.
