What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at AZEK Company?
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator responsible for providing timely and accurate quotes to existing and potential customers.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Essential Functions:

Salesforce Management: Utilize Salesforce.com to manage assigned Quote queue, respond to incoming quote requests from customers promptly, and update required fields once quotes are processed and sent to customers.

Technical Review: Review technical specifications and blueprints for quote requests, enter information into quoting software, and generate quotes within 24 hours of receipt. Complete QC forms to ensure quote accuracy.

Freight Rate Calculation: Obtain freight rates through online tools based on Logistics guidelines as needed, determined by quoted product dimensions.

Customer Interaction: Regularly use phone system software to accurately track availability throughout the day for handling customer calls, answering questions, and maintaining professional interaction to ensure customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of all product offerings.

Administrative Support: Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as needed in support of the Estimating team.

Communication: Comfortable handling both incoming and outgoing phone calls and sending emails.

Skills & Abilities:

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Experience: 1 years of experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing estimating environment.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Salesforce.com and JD Edwards is a plus.

Other Requirements: Experience with architectural specifications, blueprints, and estimates.

Typical office work environment; frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer, multiple monitors, keyboard, and mouse.
