How You’ll Add Value
The Quality Assurance Manager provides QMS direction and support to ensure a consistent and compliant approach to Quality System implementation. This position reports on the performance of the Quality System to senior leadership and implements required improvements to continuously improve the Quality System. The Quality Assurance Manager manages a quality team who are responsible for support of Quality System management and improvement at the Indianapolis and Plainfield locations.
What You’ll Do
Sets goals for performance, monitors employee productivity, provides constructive feedback and coaching. Schedules, facilitates, and responds to client audits. Develops relationships with targeted clients. Oversees internal audit program, conducts regular internal facility audits to ensure compliance to QMS. Facilitates alignment of QMS and quality activities across company locations and departments to ensure adherence to Azenta Life Science Services quality standards. Manages Management Review program for the SRS business unit. Oversees metrics program for the Sample Storage, Sample Sourcing and Transportation businesses globally. Drives continuous improvement activities based on data from quality measuring and monitoring activities such as audit findings, customer feedback, deviations, non-conformance, etc.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 years of Quality Assurance related work experience required. Life sciences preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of quality systems and how quality systems are designed and operated to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years managerial experience
- Onsite - Indianapolis (aligned to company policy 4 days in office)
- Employee may be working on an area with potentially infectious materials.
