What You’ll Do…
- Collaborate with other members of the Global Finance Team to prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial results, along with insightful analysis. This includes the preparation and review of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and monthly intercompany tie outs, review of monthly consolidated results, the oversight of any unusual transactions, as well as reporting provided to help senior management understand the underlying business drivers.
- Lead execution of monthly inventory counts for our Multiomics business, Global E&O calculations and related inventory account reconciliations.
- Execute monthly and quarterly inventory reporting for internal and external purposes.
- Ensure completion of various inventory reporting related internal control activities.
- Participate in annual audits and quarterly reviews. Working with the external auditors and finance staff, managing timelines and deliverables. Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through technology or process changes.
- Collaborate with the Global Finance Team to standardize and streamline recurring processes and data collection activities, establishing best practices that improve efficiency, and optimize the use of technology.
- Assist in the setup and/ or maintenance of processes, procedures and controls that properly capture, track and report financial results, in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley, U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Assist with projects in various capacities from the execution of tasks on larger cross functional projects to project management activities on smaller projects.
- Provide support for footnotes disclosure for financial reporting purposes related to applicable general ledger accounts.
- A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
- Previous professional work experience in finance, preferably working with (or in) a life sciences or manufacturing company
- Ability to understand, review and explain financial results and business drivers
- Creative problem solving and presentation skills
- CPA or CA designation preferred
- Cost accounting background preferred
- Focus on continuous improvement in areas of responsibility to drive transition to “best in class” finance organization.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, or as a team member.
- Strong analytical & interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing to all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines.
- A sense of urgency and self-motivation, with a personal commitment to meeting deadlines.

- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
- Public company experience is preferred but not required.
- NetSuite Experience is preferred but not required. OneStream experience is a plus.
- Technical working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, Internal Controls and SEC accounting/reporting rules.
- This role is on-site in South Plainfield, NJ 4 days a week. Remote on Fridays
