We are seeking an Inventory Tech I to join our team. As an Inventory Tech I role is to manage inventory and supply assembly, secondary ops and shipping with components and proper documents, Work Orders (WO), to facilitate operations to achieve on time delivery of product to customer.
Job Duties and Tasks - Managing Inventory
- Uses NetSuite to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data.
- Receives product from Shipping; verify the count and part number. Report actual quantity received and notify Shipping of any mixed parts or large count discrepancies.
- Complete NetSuite transactions, Issue material (WOI), document Completion (WOCP), and Close Work Orders (WOCL).
- Create and print assembly WO and next level WO as needed. Distribute documents and components to the next operation.
- Give completed WO to Inventory Tech Shipping for filing.
- Fulfill orders received from Production Management or Program Managers
- Perform bin and warehouse transfers as needed.
- Works with Inventory Manager and Production management to identify and resolve discrepancies between NetSuite and Physical inventory to reduce Inventory Adjustments (IA) and possible theft.
- Reports discrepancies >10% or $500 to Inventory Manager.
- Works with QC to identify and segregate parts for MRB and/or Scrap then completes transactions for MRB and Scrap in NetSuite as identified on WO.
- Maintains FGs inventory, participating in quarterly inventory and cycle counts.
- Maintains the cleanliness and organization of FGs. Document the storage locations in NetSuite. Creates and labels Rack, Shelf and Bin Locations. Labels components in bins or bags.
- Report to Inventory Manager regarding any discrepancies in Bill of Materials (BOM), i.e. wrong quantity, missing components, wrong component, when found.
- Provide component(s) to Sales and other personnel for SAMPLES as needed, document in NetSuite.
- Assist Inventory Tech Shipping as needed.
NetSuite tasks:
- Create WO, Issue components (WOI); document Work Order Completion (WOCP), Close WO (WOCL)
- Print WO
- Inventory Adjustments, with Memo
- Bin and Warehouse Transfers
Other tasks:
- Assists co-workers as needed.
- Assists Production Manager with secondary operations when available
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma o equivalent, plus relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
