Job Description

Duties
- Perform field activities such as site visits/inspections, take detailed field notes, and review prior reports and other historical documentation that will result in a comprehensive Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) report.
- Collection of asbestos and lead paint samples for surveys/inspections.
- Collection of soil samples, surface water samples, and groundwater samples as part of Phase II ESAs, periodic grondwater monitoring, and other activities.
- Coordination of work schedule with subcontractors, and general subcontractor field oversight for drilling operations and Underground Storage Tank (UST) removals, etc.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing, recording survey data in approved forms.
- Data management (compilation, manipulation, and evaluation of data)
- Figure/map/boring log/cross-section production
- Prepare reports detailing field activities.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or another related field. An advanced degree is a plus
- Entry-level role (training to be provided as necessary)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with technical writing skills preferred
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Candidates must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions and for extended periods in a variety of conditions including but not limited to sites containing hazardous substances/waste. May be standing for extended periods of time.
