What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at Aztec Group?

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Asset Manager role located in Miami, Florida at Aztec Group. The Asset Manager will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, reporting and assisting senior management with critical the decision-making processes for hospitality, multifamily, retail, office, senior housing, land, medical outpatient, and self-storage investments for Mayan Properties, Aztec Group's merchant banking vehicle.

Responsibilities : :

Regular communications with 3

party managers / operators on a variety of CRE investments

Monthly internal reporting on existing commercial real estate investments to key principals / investors

Quarterly external reporting on existing commercial real estate investments to all investors

Review and evaluation of the feasibility of new of new investment opportunities.

Direct involvement in acquisition, financing, capital programs, development, and disposition due diligence and management processes

Qualifications

Candidate Qualities :

Maturity

Ability to be concise and summarize findings

Desire to collaborate in an office environment

Proven ability to be committed, goal oriented, and work in a team-oriented environment

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, writing and communication skills

Ability to work independently on multiple assignments.

Skills :

Financial Analysis

Real Estate Asset Management and Property Performance Optimization

Acquisitions and Dispositions

Communication

Strong understanding of hospitality and commercial real estate

Experience and Education :

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including finance, accounting, banking, appraisal, or private equity

Firm understanding of accounting and commercial real estate management principals and reporting

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Hospitality, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
