HR ASSISTANT – (ON-SITE) FULL TIME, PERMANENT

- Proficient with Windows Operating Systems (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Professional and effective written, verbal and organizational skills required
- Ability to multi-task several projects at a time with attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities
- Basic working knowledge of labor law and employment best practices
- Maintain professional and high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with Aztec administrative dress code.
- Associate must at all times be attentive, friendly and courteous in a service-oriented manner to all guests, managers and employees in compliance with company values
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of employee records and documentation
- Monitor/resolve time-card discrepancies to ensure accurate hours and approvals
- Create and maintain new hire, personnel training files
- Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette (clear and professional language)
- Processing and distributing company mail and UPS shipping & packaging
- Serves as a backup for conducting new hire orientation/onboarding
- May support various departments and work on special projects
- Reports to and provides administrative support to HR Manager
- Other duties and special projects as assigned

Duties
- Assist in the onboarding process by conducting employee orientation sessions and preparing necessary documentation.
- Manage social media channels to promote company culture and job openings.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Kronos, Oracle, or SAP to maintain accurate employee records.
- Support the administration of FMLA and other leave programs.
- Facilitate the interviewing process by scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues by providing support and guidance as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with human capital management concepts and practices.
- Proficiency in using HRIS software; experience with Kronos, Oracle, or SAP is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating initiative.
