Aztec Shops, a premier auxiliary organization of San Diego State University, invites applications for its Director of Real Estate & Business Development. As a key member of the university's leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and management of multi-unit residential properties for student and faculty housing, as well as overseeing leasing retail space in existing and new properties.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead a dynamic division comprised of the real estate portfolio and conference services business. Your expertise will be crucial in administering all facets of budgeting and forecasting, including profit and loss responsibility for residential and commercial real estate assets valued at over $200 million with more than $30 million in annual revenue.
You will have direct oversight of three direct reports and one indirect report, ensuring the successful execution of their roles and responsibilities. Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- A bachelor's degree is required, along with at least ten years of related experience in real estate and contract management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
