We are seeking a skilled and motivated PV Solar Installer to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing residential and commercial photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain photovoltaic (PV) solar systems on residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Mount solar panels, racking systems, and related equipment according to industry and safety standards.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for PV systems, including inverters and battery storage (if applicable).
- Work with project managers, electricians, and other team members to complete installations on schedule.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure proper system operation and compliance with local codes and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PV system performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during installations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a PV Solar Installer or in a related field.
- Familiarity with solar panel mounting systems, electrical wiring, and power tools.
- Ability to work at heights, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations is a plus.
- NABCEP certification (preferred but not required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
