What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Funder position at Azura Credit Union?
Overview
The Indirect Funder reviews contract documents received from Indirect Dealer Partners to ensure compliance, accuracy and that all underwriting approval conditions are met and facilitates prompt and accurate loan funding.
Responsibilities
- Makes consistent and sound decisions involving verification of documents and signatures
- Tracks and communicates the status of indirect contracts in house and conducts regular follow up to obtain missing documentation
- Verifies and inputs demographics, employment and loan information into core system
- Works with Credit Analysts and Indirect Program Manager to maintain and build business relationships with Indirect Dealer Partners, including suggesting and implementing improvements to Indirect Program.
- Collaborates with Credit Analysts to ensure prompt funding of contracts
- Assures Credit Union’s rights and interests are protected through proper documentation and lien perfection.
- Efficiently and reliably completes loan processing and funding in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all Credit Union compliance and procedural requirements.
Experience
- One to twelve months of similar or related experience including time spent in preparatory positions
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Significant level of trust, diplomacy and professionalism
