What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Loan Closer / Funder position at Azura Credit Union?
The primary responsibility of the Home Loan Closer / Funder is to ensure Home Loans close in accordance with underwriting approval, credit union policies, and state and federal compliance rules and regulations
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all loan documents are complete, accurate and compliant
- Confirm loan terms, conditions, and borrower information before disbursement; pre-balance for funding, and issue revised Closing Disclosure
- Schedule and facilitate the closing process, including coordinating with title companies, Home Loan Consultants, and borrowers
- Manage the release of funds to the appropriate parties, including seller and service providers
- Liaising between borrowers, real estate agents, and lenders to ensure a smooth closing process
- Ensuring all aspects of the closing process adhere to federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience
- Two-year college degree or equivalent knowledge attained through on the job experience
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Self-Motivated with good follow through ability
