Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in managing various projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, and supporting the project manager in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage residential & commercial renovation construction projects from start to finish.
- Review and interpret project schematics and blueprints.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules with MS Project, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that arise.
- Manage project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a project manager in residential commercial new construction and remodeling projects.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting construction schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
