What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent - Solar Field Vegetation Management position at B&A Property Maintenance?
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and values driven Vegetation Management Superintendent. The Superintendent will have the opportunity to travel all across the state of Arkansas to manage the vegetation of dozens of solar fields.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technicians
- Manage the crew(s) schedules and insure efficiency, safety, and execution excellence.
- Report anomalies and potential technical issues to the site owners.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Division Manager.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained for safe and optimal performance.
- Review daily electronic timesheets for accuracy and important info needing further action.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a manner that is respectful and courteous to clients, their visitors and employees.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Culture Fit.
- Passionate abt meeting Safety and Quality standards.
- 5 years service industry experience, preferably in utility vegetation management.
- 3 years leadership and management experience.
- Technically savvy to navigate email, mapping, time tracking, and jobsite software.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping and landscaping principles and practices.
- Experience with scheduling and logistics.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit with the stamina and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Mechanically savvy regarding small engines and basic truck & trailer preventative maintenance.
- Computer skills.
