Dispatch Operations

B and B Transportation, a leading school bus company located in Bethany, CT, is in need of a smart, responsible, computer savvy individual able to perform various operational functions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the on-time performance of drivers schedules and assisting drivers and customers as needed. He/she must be able to work independently and collaboratively, Monday - Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

• Updating computer programs to reflect schedule changes, as necessary
• Notifying drivers of schedule changes
• Answering incoming calls and monitoring and responding to radio calls from drivers

The following skills are a must:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bilingual is preferred but not necessary
• Attention to detail is a must
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
