Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, other duties may be assigned but not limited to
Working with senior level technicians to install wiring and devices for Nurse Call and RTLS systems.
Installation of low voltage cabling, connecting devices, programming, initializing integrations and testing devices.
Candidate may need to assist with audio/video projects, when needed.
System specific training will be provided as required both on the job and at various sessions offered by system manufacturers.
Be open and available to travel 2.5 - 3hrs as needed for longer-distance projects. May be required to stay out of town for a several days with advanced notice
Knowledge of electronics and computer networking experience is a plus
Approach all interactions with others with a team mentality and integrity
Required Skills, Education & Experience
Soldering skills & the ability to follow wiring schematics and installation documentation
Maintain a clean driving record & current License
Candidates must be able to critically think and be self-motivated
Ability to multi-task & adapt to changes quickly while working in a fast-paced environment
Act professionally and accordingly with customers and team members
Be independent, highly customer-focused and able to work under minimum supervision
Possess strong oral & written communication skills as well as organizational and time management skills. Strong math skills are needed
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
HS education or equivalent (required), 2 Year degree or Higher (preferred)
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time & ability to lift 50 lbs
