What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Crew Leader position at B&B Lawn & Landscaping?
The lawn care or landscape crew member is responsible for running a Crew in the daily operations of lawn care maintenance.
Duties include lawn mowing, string trimming, edging, debris cleanup, and general landscape tasks. Other duties may include seeding, spring and fall cleanup, trimming shrubs and small trees, weeding flower beds, mulching, tree removal and snow removal.
Previous lawn mowing experience is preferred.
This is a full-time position. W2 Position
Position Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will be one who has a passion for lawn maintenance, enjoys working outdoors, and has an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Employee is expected to maintain a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.
Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and aerators.
Perform basic service and maintenance on equipment.
Be able to complete jobs in a time efficient manner and meet company productivity goals in a team-oriented environment.
Employee is required to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel for long periods of time.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Provide onsite customer care and help establish relationships with clients.
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Valid Ohio driver license
Pay:
This position pay is variable upon experience. Typically, between $20.00 - $25.00 hourly.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm. Specific hours will vary. Some makeup work may be performed on the weekend.
