We are seeking a skilled WellPoint Installer to join our team. The WellPoint Installer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and removal of wellpoint dewatering systems on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of dewatering techniques, equipment operation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
Installation and Setup : Install wellpoint dewatering systems, including pumps, wellpoints, and header pipes according to project specifications.
Maintenance and Monitoring : Inspect and maintain dewatering equipment to ensure optimal performance; monitor system effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
System Removal : Safely dismantle and remove wellpoint systems upon project completion, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and properly stored.
Site Assessment : Evaluate job sites to determine the most effective dewatering setup; collaborate with project managers to develop dewatering plans tailored to site conditions.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to all company and industry safety standards; conduct site safety assessments and participate in safety meetings.
Client Interaction : Communicate effectively with clients and site supervisors; provide updates on system performance and address any concerns promptly.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and equipment usage; complete required reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in wellpoint installation or related dewatering services.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in operating dewatering pumps and related equipment; ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site plans.
Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
Licenses : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
Safety Knowledge : Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices in construction site safety.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Problem-Solving : Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dewatering systems efficiently.
