What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift QA Line Lead position at B&G Foods, Inc.?
This position is located in our Yadkinville, NC facility. Working on the 2nd shift, from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, we are seeking a responsible leader to oversee the quality and quantity of packaged goods, ensuring they meet company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily QA tasks, testing of standards, and manage the overall QA process and workflow.
- Provide guidance to team members to maintain the highest level of quality through continuous testing, review of visual elements, proofreading, and validation during critical stages of development.
- Build and maintain internal lines of communication, and create departmental processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure various inspections and checks are accomplished in day-to-day operations of production to assure the quality of the product meets company standards and customer requirements.
- Contribute information and analysis to the QA Manager.
- Identify and resolve problems; complete audits; determine process improvements.
- Conduct hazard analyses and identify critical control points with preventive measures.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and on-hold products.
- Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits, and isolate product that does not meet standards.
- Adhere to all GMP & Safety Procedures.

- QA Experience Required.
- Experience within a Leadership Role is Preferred.
