JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for a variety of activities in support of department managers and others within multiple departments and facilities. The person in this role is expected to exercise personal judgment and independence in completing a wide range of varied tasks supporting maintenance, production and purchasing. This person must understand the overall department responsibilities, support department activities across multiple departments, and be able to research issues independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Office type setting, must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are not limited to the following.
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities and Maintenance department, which includes sourcing and purchasing supplies and equipment.
- Provide administrative support to the general office including purchasing office supplies.
- Review service contracts and schedule service as needed for the facilities, and maintenence department.
- Create and maintain purchase orders for outside processing/service vendors in support of production, and manufacturing of finished goods.
- Maintain supplier relationships.
- Consistently work at obtaining parts, supplies, and services from suppliers at the lowest cost with high quality and shortest lead time.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records on all areas of responsibility.
