Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Level 1 Warehouse Supervisor to join our team and lead our warehouse department operations. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient and smooth operations, maintaining a safe working environment, and meeting operational targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and Supervise: Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
Team Coordination: Assist in organizing and directing the activities of a small team to ensure tasks are completed. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Operational Efficiency: Monitor workflow, manage resources, and implement processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Safety Compliance: Ensure team adherences to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions with an analytical approach.
Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication between team members, other departments, and upper management.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role or a similar position is preferred.
Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead by example.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Proactive and capable of addressing issues quickly and effectively.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems, basic computer skills and strategic planning.
Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a lead/supervisory position
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional qualifications in logistics, warehouse management, or a related field are a plus.
